So, who’s Mae Claire?
Glad you asked because it’s my favorite topic!
Mae Claire Travel Co. is named after my two beautiful daughters, Eleanor Mae and Lydia Claire. They are my greatest inspiration and favorite travel companions. Together, with my husband, we’ve explored much of the U.S. and have traveled internationally as a family multiple times.
Some of my most cherished travel memories include exploring the wonders of Alaska with my kids, relaxing in St. Lucia with my husband, playing on the beach in Turks and Caicos with my family, exploring the rich culture of Ireland with my dad and his siblings, and walking around the Christmas Markets (by myself!) while in Paris.

The short version of how I became a custom travel advisor
for couples, families, and corporate professionals.
Travel has been a passion of mine ever since my family's annual trips to Minneapolis - especially when staying at Embassy Suites (so glamorous!). Those experiences ignited something in me, and soon enough, I found myself working at a local hotel, learning a ton, and building a dreamy client base in the sales and events department.
After pursuing an AAS degree in Travel and Business Management and gaining 17 years of valuable experience in hotel hospitality, I decided to dive deeper into the world of travel and left my position to focus on travel planning full-time.
Since then I’ve planned hundreds of trips for couples, families, and corporate professionals looking for a unique travel experience without spending hours online finding the best locations and the most exciting excursions.
From milestone birthday celebrations to destination weddings, family spring breaks, and multi-generation international travel, I’ve helped families all over the US plan their perfect trip. I’ve also managed all the travel logistics for a variety of corporate professionals and have worked on citywide conventions including the MLB All-Star Game, Super Bowl 2018, and NCAA 2019. So if you’re in need of a group travel advisor, I’m your gal.
When I'm not planning vacations, I can be found dreaming of my next vacation, hosting friends at our firepit, starting multiple home projects with my husband, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and singing and snuggling with my daughters.
